NOLA Restaurants that don’t require vac papers

Are there any NOLA restaurants not requiring proof of vac status now that COVID is essentially over? Planning a NOLA weekend for early April

Its incredible they are still doing this. Im pretty sure they are having a music festival the last weekend of this month with no required proof of vaccine, but you need one to sit with the people you drive to the restaurant with.

First of all, this is SUPPOSED to end on March 21st so you shouldn't have to worry about it.
Most places outside of the FQ, CBD or ultra Hipster areas don't care that much.
Some don't ask at all, some only want to glance at something and don't pay attention.

If they have actually made a statement saying “we are lifting vax mandates next Monday,” you have to wonder why they cant do it immediately and actually set a future date. Makes no sense. But then again, nothing makes less sense now than it did months/year ago.

They have said they are lifting it on the 21st, conditionally. The Conditions were how we look covid wise at the time (based on some stupid tests they are going to run on the water supply, not joking).
The numbers all appear fine post mardi gras so its likely it gets lifted for the tournament.

It's not in the Memphis area. I've never had to show a vax card for anything here. We went to Denver/Winter Park last week, and only one place (Milk Market) in Denver asked for proof of vax nowhere else even required a mask

I would bet my next check that most of the restaurants that look only do it to keep someone off their back. Probably a $12 an hour employee that if you showed your Library card they would just smiled politely.

And the Mayor will keep the Emergency Order in place open ended to be reinstated at any time. Which is what the lawsuit is about.

Went to Couchon Butcher last and stood in line to get to the counter then was asked for Vax card. Stood inside packed with people for 15 mins before having to show one since we were dining in. Kinda silly, but the food was great.

I haven’t been to a place that requires them. And that includes some restaurants in California.

I live in NOLA. Eat out regularly. Have not shown proof of Vac or worn mask in over 6 months. I thought this stuff was already over.

Worked at a convention past weekend - live in TN now so was a chance to see family. Most around the conv center area asked for the card. Some places still mandated masks. This one was interesting- St. James cheese will allow you in to shop or order togo food but if you want to eat there you needed to show vax card.
One thing that was very clear al of the restaurants/coffee shops are still very understaffed. Some restaurants did not seat all tables while other places packed people in and hoped you would drink while food trickled out.
