They all are supposed to have it right now but as a practical matter it seems to be about 50/50.

I live in NOLA. Eat out regularly. Have not shown proof of Vac or worn mask in over 6 months. I thought this stuff was already over.

You must not eat out a lot or only at a very select number of places. Few places over the past 6 months will say anything about masking (although, I've encountered a couple) but the vaccine deal seemed to be at least 50/50 six months ago, with a bit of steady decline since.

Hence, I can't see any way you've been to a lot of places and not gotten this ONCE over the past 6 months.

Although, maybe you are so intimidating, nobody dares to say anything to you.

I don't live in New Orleans, but have been there a few times in the past 6 months and have had to show my vaccine card over a dozen times

Or something resembling a vax card/test.

I should have said that I have been asked to show my vaccine card over a dozen times.

I guess maybe that could be his clever out in saying he has not ACTUALLY shown "proof of vaccine" in the past 6 months.

I tried to stop at Laurel St. Bakery this morning for breakfast. They still require everyone to wear masks! I turned around at the door!

I know it's all still very stupid for them to require it and is likely ending next week, but it's very easy to just have a fake one printed up.

Did you think they were going to tell someone over the phone that they weren’t following the law?

Well, that’s currently the law. Did you expect them to openly say they weren’t?

Just take an old negative test from your email and edit it in a pdf reader. Just change the dates.

You could just make several with different dates if you are here for more than 72 hours.

All just hypothetical, of course.

Also no one has asked me in mid city or Lakeview.

I have the "papers" my niece is in town and she has no "papers" (no pic's she's from Calif. and she has a black belt in karate, so she would kick y'all's arse) and I want to take her out to dinner.

Lakeview may work. Thanks

this is a joke. I went to the Pelicans game two weeks back with vac card printouts for each of us. The guy asked how many, I said 4, he counted 4 and said all good. I could have literally taken anything printed and they would let in. I saw couple of guys just point at their phone, saying they had it on there and were let in.
