Me being vaxxed effects me, it has nothing to do with you.

I believe there were studies that showed vaccinated people were less likely to spread to others. So you being vaccinated can have an effect on others. Just tossing that out there.

Ahh, but I have the right to go into that establishment.

Lol. You have the right o to go into an establishment how that establishment sees fit to operate. You don’t have the right to go into it how YOU want it to operate.

There is no real data that can show that.

There are also many studies that proves this to be false. Unfortunately science has been corrupted with politicization so the average person has to choose what they want to believe

Palm & Pine is keeping theirs after a "staff vote".

My parents went to Palm & Pine and they said they weren't asked. I looked it up and they dropped their requirements after four days.

Would be interesting to see how many people unfollowed them on social media in that period

F#ck them. I moved a client meeting after reading this thread.

I have no interest in ever going there.

I would love to have been a fly on the wall for the details of how that came to be. Did they have another staff vote and in just 4 days, staff changed their minds? Was there enough of a dip in business in 4 days to cause them to walk it back? Did staff flip out when they walked it back, since they had voted just 4 days prior that they felt unsafe without it?

The owner probably saw the numbers and cancelled it.

I bet they didn't even have a staff vote, and they just thought that sounded good for their press release about it.

Haha. Staff might have saw it and been like “wtf we didn’t vote on this. This will kill business”

But probably not. They are all in lockstep I bet.

And look I like Palm&Pine (although as I said I haven't eaten there since the pandemic started).

But the staff their is very very...alternative.

None to my knowledge but I haven't been to any of the ones that would be most likely to do it.
