Pizza here, too. It's tradition.

Last year we packed up the pizza, rode our bikes over to Seaside with friends and listened to live music while eating, imbibing and watching fireworks. Made for a precarious ride home

All of that is canceled this year - so, pizza at home with friends, it is.

Sous vide and smoked boneless leg of lamb. Dry brined overnight and coated with mustard powder, garlic, ground mint, and rosemary.

On the smoker at low heat for 2 hours, sous vide at 135 for 8 hours. Sear and slice.

Serve with tzatziki, flatbread, and a side salad with Sensation dressing.

Cooking a corned beef that I brined for the past 2 weeks and having cabbage out the garden smothered down to go with it and black eye peas today instead of tomorrow.

The wife and I are heading out of town to N. Georgia so our New Year's Day meal is tonight.

Grape leaves, prosciutto-wrapped dates stuffed with herbed goat cheese, baba ganoush, veggies and mini pita, shrimp cocktail.

Martini to start. Veuve Clicquot later if I don't go to bed at 9.
