But, but...you’ll pay $8 for a pint at a bar! So it’s within the proper price point!

I can’t tell you the last time I bought a Parish beer. Too many better cheaper options at this point.

Exactly.... picking up a can of beer from a warehouse in Broussard should be the same price point as having a pint poured for you at a bar.... this checks out!

If everything is DDH, then nothing is DDH.

I’m not going to come up and say they’re the most overrated, but they do appear to be a one-style pony. It’s all NE “juicy” hazy IPA. No West Coast, no stouts or porters, no quads, etc.

I’ve liked several of their IPAs, but there’s really not too much variation in style.

Nova Vert has been pretty meh after the original batches that Parish called Opus Vert

This pre-sale process they’ve been doing is nice in theory, but only allowing pick ups on the 1 day is very lame

They were the only Houston brewery deep in the haze craze as recently as a year ago so it's easy to see why they get so much love.

Right before they changed names they put out a batch of Opus that was so good it shocked me. Been a shite show since then.

Freaking B52's last fruited release on Friday was 36 dollars a 4 pack. Yea, I'll take 16 any day.

Tin Roof Voodoo is a better pale ale
Urban South and Gnarly Barley are making some pretty good IPA's without the inconsistency.
Gilla is pretty good from what i hear.
Courtyard makes some pretty good stuff.

Do i need to continue?

Courtyard is a brewpub. Essentially a bar. You expect higher prices in a bar. Paying a premium to go pick up a 4 pack from Broussard is silly, especially if you have no clue if this will be another Parish "yeast change" or if it will taste good.

The only thing consistent in the IPA front Parish has put out, is Ghost.
