Headed to Nashville in a few weeks and wanted to get some input on places to eat/drink. Any and all price points and fare...

So far, my list includes:
-Etch
-Peg Leg Porker
-Catbird Seat
-Arnold's Country Kitchen
-Slim and Husky's

Thoughts on those, or others, please. TIA!

Biscuit Love is great for breakfast....go to Southern Grist brewery if you love sour beers.

I would modify this to say "Kettle sour" beers. SG makes some really good beers, but all the sours are kettle sours.

Kayne Prime is good for a cocktail and fancy steak.

The Southern was a good spot downtown

Peg Leg Porkers was great. Try all the sides you can shove down except the weird Kool-Aid pickles. I also enjoyed the hot chicken from Hattie's. If you're looking for beer, Southern Grist (lots) and Bearded Iris (hops) are top-notch. Those are 4 places I'll definitely be going back to. I didn't make it to Biscuit Love, but the lines every time I passed tell it all.

Gotta try hot chicken. Hattie Bs is great. Martins for BBQ. Overall, if your used to dining in Nola, you will be disappointed. But Nashville it a fun city. Very clean too.

Think you'll do ok with your list. Catbird seat is a tough reservation but a real experience. Could do husk and pinewood social

If you made only one or two "beer stop(s)" in Nashville, where would it/they be?

Added to the list. We like to sleep in a little when we travel, so hopefully that will help with the line situation.

Bearded Iris or Southern Grist.

BI is all about the juice, if you're in to that. Southern Grist has a wider selection of things. I'd do SG, but that's personal preference. I was just over at SG the other day and they had about 10 beers on tap and it was all varied and all good.

I agree on Bearded Iris (if you love hops) and am ok with Southern Grist, but I would also add in Smith & Lentz and New Heights as other places worthy of your attention. S&L is almost as good as BI on the hoppy end of the spectrum and has a wider variety of other styles that are also very good. New Heights if you like the darker, high-gravity arts (barleywines and imperial stouts). If you are really into sours and have a car, it's worth the drive to Mantra. I also have a soft spot for Black Abbey, if you prefer more of a Belgian approach.
