Raw coconut

It's amazing how many of these type threads list coconut. It's the only food I cannot eat without getting a gag response and throwing up. I even get a queezy stomach if I smell coconut (like at a pool where people are using coconut oil lotion.)

There are roughly 380,000 consumable items in the world, of which I don't like 5 (.000013%). If that makes me picky, I'm ok with it.

In addition, due to the fact that I eat every other food listed in the thread, including both beets and liver, and the fact that I've had scrambled eggs with squirrel brains and onions, haggis, ponce, kidneys, chitterlings, tripe, fried cooters (softshell turtle), calf fries/Rocky Mountain oysters, uni, whole aji (including head and bones), raccoon, pig ears, and numerous other delicacies, yeah, I'd say I'm adventurous.

I like fried coconut shrimp, but raw coconut? Blecch. Whomever is responsible for inventing Mounds, Almond Joy, and Bounty candy bars should be hanged, drawn, and quartered. And those Samoas Girl Scout cookies

Those sugar wafer cookies, especially the pink ones.
Ate some while I was sick as a child. They make me gag every time since.

I'm a grownup, I don't have any food 'things', I'll try damn near anything. I dislike picky eaters a lot more than any one food.

"Ewww, I can't eat this, it has mushrooms in it."

I have a weird thing with tomatoes... I can have spaghetti sauce, salsa, etc., but I cannot, for the life of me, eat a slice of tomato without gagging.

It's also very hard for me to eat berries with seeds (blackberries, raspberries, even strawberries) because I can't stand getting the seeds stuck in my teeth.

Damn. These are well worth the inconvenience...

dirty rice: I can count on one hand the number of times I've had dirty rice that I actually liked

IPA's: Yes, I would like the glass of bitter beer that tastes like lawn trimmings.

Nacho &/or American cheese: stuff is straight up nasty. Give me some pepperjack, swiss, colby, provolone, mozzarella, ect any day over nacho or american.

I've never had chitterlings, but I feel like I wouldn't like them. I don't care for the texture of tripe (I've only had it once, in pho) and I don't care for the texture of tongue.

Vegetable wise, it's pretty much turnips and turnip greens. I'll eat turnip greens in a vegetable soup, but not on their own.

I like grapefruit okay, but can't drink grapefruit juice.

While I love, love, love Thai curry, I don't like Indian curry. I'd try Indian curry again, because maybe I just didn't have a good version? The smell is overwhelming.

I've only had caviar once and didn't like it, but I'd give it another shot because I think it wasn't necessarily the good stuff.

If forced to eat spaghetti-o's, I'm sure I'd throw up.

I know man, it sucks, but i just can't do it. The seed thing seems to have gotten progressively worse over the years.

I'll eat the hell out of some Smuckers seedless blackberry jam though
