I'm an adventurous eater and will eat just about anything. However there are a few things I simply cannot deal with:

Cucumber ( I love a good Pimms Cup, though)
Celery (there's nothing worse than raw celery, imo.)
Raw coconut
Sweet pickles/pickle relish
Popcorn

It's also very hard for me to eat berries with seeds (blackberries, raspberries, even strawberries) because I can't stand getting the seeds stuck in my teeth.

You sound like a picky eater imo.

I'm similar...coconuts, berries (except blueberries), and some fruits like oranges.

I like the flavors, just hate the textures.

Honestly, about the only food I don't care for is beets.

Grits. Grew up in Louisiana but I don't like grits or iced tea.

I have a weird thing with tomatoes... I can have spaghetti sauce, salsa, etc., but I cannot, for the life of me, eat a slice of tomato without gagging.

Pickled beets. It's really the only thing I can think of that I absolutely abhor.

Almost all mushrooms common. They have a weird chlorine flavor to me. Ughhh.

That is such a lie. The texture kills me.

Raw tomatoes
Okra
Raw flesh

I think beet haters just haven't given them a chance.

Mayo haters have mental issues.

Peas. Hate the way they "pop" in your mouth and the way they taste. (I will eat split-pea soup though.)

I pick them out of rice pilaf or fried rice when restaurants add them, so by the time I'm finished I have a small pile of peas on the side like a little kid.

Bitter melon is the only food I refuse to eat

There are plenty of foods that I don't seek out but will eat if offered for the sake of being polite

Other than a few food allergies I'll eat just about anything although I don't seek them out
