What's your experience with this place? Any good?

For a burger place that only cooks them one way, it's slightly above average.

For the best burger (and deal) in town, it's Fleming's Prime Burger. But you can only catch it at certain hours (and maybe on certain days?). Curbside also has a very good burger as well.

I personally like Smash Burger the best for a quick-serve restaurant (QSR) burger. But their service is absolute shite. It's essentially a Burger King employee dressed up in a Smash Burger uniform.

Mooyah comes in second in the QSR category, followed by Freddy's and then Five Guys, which really isn't that good but in 4th place by default, because McDonald's, Burger King, Sonic and Wendy's are shite served between a bun (Wendy's is the best of the shite burgers).

And although not a QSR type of restaurant, I don't care for Burger Smith or Fat Cow. Fat Cow started off strong but has faded fast in the quality department and Burger Smith is average at best, however they are steadily expanding ... so maybe it is just me.

I'm not a fan of Smash Burger. And I'd rank 5 guys a lot higher.

QSR-
1. Mooyah
2. Five Guys
3. Smash Burger
4. Freddy's

I agree Fat Cow and Burgersmith are a huge disappointment.

And Curbside has only gotten stronger.

An under the radar Burger is Twine. It is one of the best in town.

Never had Mooyah, but I like Freddy's a lot, though their service was abysmally slow the three times I've been.

Strangely, I've found that Wendys smaller burgers like they serve with their $4 and $5 meal deals (Jr Cheeseburger or something like that) taste better than their single and double, which I find rather flavorless.

Jack In The Box can be OK, but they usually char all the flavor out to kill E. coli. This was funny. I got a bunch of coupons in the mail Friday, 9/29. Know when they expired? 9/30. Thanks for nothing, Jack.

No one ever talks about Backyard Burgers. They're excellent, right up there with Freddy's, though a different style.

I'm a fan.

I prefer Mooyah over Smash and Five Guys.

....it tastes exactly like burger king.

Wtf is wrong with this place....

The best burger in baton rouge is at the state capital. After that, if you're cool with overly seasoned beef, Roul and Tramontes are the place to be.

For a decent burger, riverside patty.

Superior grill has a decent burger as well.

If we really must succumb to fast food, hardees exists for a reason.

Mooyah Burgers

It takes forever to get your order, even if they're not busy. The one on Siegen in BR is poorly run and there's no sense of urgency with the employees, other than all of them screaming out "Welcome to Mooyah" when someone enters...Burger is pretty good, but not worth the hassle.

The Mooyah in Gonzales is underwhelming at best. If there are better options in AP, someone in BR has to have a better burger.

Yes, but where in Baton Rouge? Just chain-yanking here. It dawned on my thick head that my office's back door is 613 meters away from the steps of the Capitol. If that's what you mean, where would this burger be found in said building?
