Memo to all the Food Board "Food Snobs"

We are no longer allowed to critique food, grills, etc for fear of being labeled a "food snob."
Apparently, the act of critiquing elements of one's cooking or dining out means you are a food snob.

I will paddle my boat over there...but we are only allowed to comment on how great the food is...especially the bread.

It's tough being a food snob. Do any of you get labeled a food snob by your friends or coworkers? I got called one a few weeks ago because I didn't want to hit up the chinese buffet with everyone else.

Can one still be a "food snob" and actually like/dislike all sorts of different foods across the spectrum?

This whole thread cacked me up. I guess we are all supposed to always agree on things and never discuss what something might be lacking in any way.
This is a food board. We can/should discuss food and what we like and don't like.
I find very little of the talk that goes on around here to be "snobby".

I could go on for days and days about my co-workers and their eating choices.
What I think bothers me the most is their behavior when we all go out to eat. They are total pain in the asses to the service staff and then don't want to tip worth a shite.

no, but only b/c i eat anything in front of me and forced friends to stop at McDonald's on Sunday so i cold eat 2 McRibs. I love great food, and am discerning in what i think is really good/great, but i eat the shite out of almost anything. I don't pretend that everything i eat is good. it's not.
