I had the best burger I have ever had on Friday there.

The Cajun Shrimp burger
it was a half lb burger with jalopenos on top then the cheese melted on top of them to keep them still. Then sauted shrimp on top, with all the burger dressings as well.

Yes, Pedigo's. I never ate there, but a friend of mine, who could afford to eat at Ruth's Chris every night, swore Pedigo's was the best steak in town. He was a regular.

Don Pedigo always had good steaks.
And to think he started in a bar room around the corner serving free steaks on Saturday's to get people in the door.

Back to Mason's can anyone remember the name of the bar that was there before Pedigos ?
I ate and drank there often but cant remember the name of the damn place. Good plate lunches I remember.

i knew don as a greasy mechanic. i think he was probably the 1st person in br to have a mobile mechanic shop "don pedigo's tune-up on wheels" i think was the name, and it was always hard for me to associate him as a restaurateur. i never ate at any of his places, but always heard how good the food was..i liked don, but haven't seen or heard about him in years. not even sure if he's still alive, i hope he is.

rag or anyone else who might know.... what's the deal with the endzone, they still open?

Hummm seems like it was something else for many years. when it was more of a barroom.

It will come to me..

In IMHO, Their mushroom burger > The Cajun Shrimp burger

I'm not a big fan of shrimp, especially on other meats, but that's just me.
