One of the best places in the FQ is done. Looks like the restaurant group will hold onto the spot but Longway is closing.

Its a loss for the FQ imo.

Places just cannot survive this.

Damn. That sucks. I really like that place. Always make a stop when I'm in New Orleans.

The restaurant sure isn't. Its always got a lot of bookings.

The hotel probably isn't booking up though that's for sure.

Unfortunately the restaurant at 25/50 percent capacity isn’t going to pay the bills on it’s own operation much less the bills on the whole multiple million dollar project.

The city revenue taxes are due. Either she’s going for a bailout from Biden or she’s sinking the ship.

Conspiracy Theorist in me is starting to think she has a consolidation and relicensing plan that involves hands in pockets for the new restaurant operators.

I realize I’m giving her far more credit than her brain produces.

I just don’t understand how the business community hasn’t just completely banded together and told her to frick off. It just seems everyone allows it with nothing more than a bit of lip service.

Say what you want about that one we have up here and shes bad but shes fricking Dick Cheney compared to Latoya.

Because they know they will get absolutely destroyed, but this time their entire lives will be ruined, not just their businesses.

The owners can’t but the wait staff, cooks etc that are all out of jobs should absolutely be marching on city hall.

They are probably the "well if people would wear their masks" types that excuse governmental overreach. Stupid people, basically.
