Reading the article sounds like it’s partially self inflicted, partially planned, and partially due to Covid.

Article says LeBlanc + Smith were the first restaurant group to voluntarily close all of their restaurants even before the Governors mandates. It also says they are planning to open up something else in Longway’s place.

I absolutely hate the mayor, but restaurants closing during this time isn’t exactly unique to New Orleans. They’ve all struggled or are struggling.

He had to re-think fast how they could make money in a completely different model early on.

Sucks. Meauxbar was my favorite restaurant in the quarter.
