You are more likely to find shrimp & grits & for that I would go to Atchafalaya or Red Dog Diner

Mena's in the Quarter at 200 Chartres is a full-service bar that serves a nice simple breakfast and lunch. No shrimp and grits but a nice shrimp creole omlet. When I have a 9:00am meeting in/near the Quarter, I skip the hotels and eat at Mena's.
