I wish that instead of joining a crowded market in Scott they'd come to BR and instantly be the best place in town.

Instead, they wanted to compete against the best of the competition rather than the weak competition in BR.

Ronnie's is pretty good, but outside of that, BR is a wasteland of good boudin. Why would they not want to dominate a market of 500k people when they could compete against the best of the best in a market of 100k people?

Because those people that are stranded on I-10 waiting for the wrecks on the basin bridge to be cleared get hungry.

Because BR doesn’t support boudin shops like SW La does. There is a reason BR is a wasteland of good boudin. The area doesn’t support it the way Acadiana does. Why do you think they have so many around SWLA and so few anywhere else by comparison?

And they're all packed most of the time. It's going to be great to have Don's, NuNu's, The Best Stop, Billy's, and Kartchner's all w/in a mile of each other. The boudin trail just keeps getting better.

Picked up Ronnie’s today for the first time. I have eaten it at other people’s gatherings.

I got a dozen boudin balls and a pound of smoked boudin.

Flavor was good on both. There was big pieces of fat which I have never experienced in any boudin ever. These were chunks, I also found a piece of a bone which was also a first.

Neches in opelousas was like this. Not sure if they even make boudin anymore since some middle easterners bought it. Big hunks of gristle, pieces of bone, fat... but it was good boudin.
