Just too much damn cajun seasoning on the outside. It's all I could taste.

Wait. Kartchners over-seasoned something?

Shocking.

If you don't get the jalapeno cream cheese boudin balls you are making a grave mistake.

I’m amazed at how little rice these companies now use. May as well not call it boudin anymore.

I like Billy’s boudin balls better but prefer Kartchners boudin

Kartchners has better prepared stuff IMO

Sorry it's better than your bland-arse West of Crowley boudin.

ETA: still working through some fresh links from Kartchners I got this weekend. Good stuff.

If talking boudin, then mostly splitting hairs.

Overall, Kartchners.

I prefer whichever one I didn't have last.

If I had to pick just one, it would be Billy's. But only because Billy's boudin to the style of boudin I grew up with. There isn't a damn thing wrong with any of the boudin vendors in Scott.

This needs to be said more often. We live here and will eat any of them, they're all good. The pissing contests over 'the best' is funny. Don's/NuNu's/Kartchner's/Billy's/The Best Stop, just drop in and grab you some, you'll enjoy them all. As always, there is hit and miss, depending upon what worker made the batch, but it's nice to be able to eat them all. At least you're not eating BoudAIN from Texas
