Great question. Used to be an easy answer with all the great old line Italian places around the city. Those are mostly gone now. A new era indeed.

new place is called Rizzuto's or something of that nature. Havent been

Tony's nephew opened a place in Metairie called Nephew's. Supposed to be the same as Tony Angelo's. Corner of West Metairie and Clearview

I haven’t been to all of them, but I really enjoy Vincent’s and Italian Barrel.

Vincent's Mosca's Italian Barrel and I really like Domenica's food, including and outside of their pizza.
I also like Red Gravy and if there's one day out of the year to go, it's St. Joseph's day for the Pasta il con sarde.
I miss La Riviera something terrible. The thought of their crabmeat ravioli still makes my mouth water.
