re: Help re: PlayStation Vue setup - Chanandler Bong
Ah, gotcha. Yeah, $50 per TV is easier to cope with. In terms of voice control, I’m pretty ok not having that. Honestly, I’d rather my kids not have the ability to change the channel that easily. Without it, I can just hide the remotes if need be. When you say less RAM, does that mean the stream...

re: Help re: PlayStation Vue setup - Chanandler Bong
Thanks for the info! My wireless is through work, but I will look into DirecTVNow. Kind of a bummer that I’d have to get 3 of the Fire cubes at $120/unit, then fire sticks for the other 2. I guess you gotta really be sure you want to cut the cord. ...

Every TV is a smart tv. My family will be on board. I’ve got ATT fiber optic, my plan is ATT 100, unlimited data. I usually run about 95-125 mbps upload and download. ...

Help re: PlayStation Vue setup - Chanandler Bong
I’m looking into canceling DirecTV after my latest bill increase. Based on channel selection, I think I’ve landed on PlayStation Vue. I’ve read the cord cutting threads, but I’m still confused as to what I actually need to purchase. What do I need to set up 5 TVs on PS Vue? I have a PS3 but no o...

re: For those following Paleo - Chanandler Bong
Great call for the Asian wraps. I’ve done something similar before but it was following a more complicated recipe, not that it was difficult, but if there’s a way to do it with fewer steps, that’s always a win. Thank you!...

I’ve heard the PS Vue is the way to go with streaming in regards to sports. Do you have any issues streaming games on any of the channels for college football (ESPNU/SEC Network)?...

re: For those following Paleo - Chanandler Bong
Yeah, we’ve done paleo for extended periods, but over the holidays we kind of let loose. For the most part, we start very strict for a month or so, then are more lenient with things like rice or dishes we may order at restaurants. Anyway, just decided we needed a restart and always looking for new i...

re: Carbonated Water - Chanandler Bong
I’m a fan of either La Croix Orange (sounds odd, but surprisingly good), Lemon, or Pure, and if there is a Whole Foods near you, their brand 365 has a good orange as well. I used it to completely cut out soft drinks, and it’s worked wonders for me....

Best lunch spots before a Saints game? - Chanandler Bong
We are doing Maypop for lunch Saturday, Peche for dinner Saturday, looking for somewhere to eat before the game Sunday. We want something more casual with a good pregame/bar atmosphere. Thanks!...

re: Honestly, what’s your prediction for the game? - Chanandler Bong
23-17 LSU I know Tua is incredible. But he hasn’t been challenged like he will this weekend. I think the defense gets a big stop early and the atmosphere rattles him. I don’t think he plays a poor game, but I think he will look average. That’s not to say Tiger Stadium has won us any games aga...
