Anyone got a recipe? Any things to look out for? I doubt we’ll drink as much as a restaurant, not sure if it goes bad. I’m guessing strain and put in fridge.

I’ve done it with a jalapeño, not bad. You could also try fat washing it with your lipid of choice. You basically let some fat sit in liquor at room temp for a day and then freeze it. Remove the congealed fat. Strain and you have a flavored vodka.
Say bacon grease, olive oil, etc…

I’ve done the Alton Brown recipe for black pepper infused vodka a couple of times and it turns out great.
Take 2 tablespoons of black peppercorns and crack them lightly. Add to the bottle of vodka and store in a cool dark place. Shake it up once a day. At the end of a week strain the peppercorns out and put the vodka in the freezer. Perfect for bloody marys.

I had a buddy that infused Finland is vodka with garlic. He said that he used sous vide but I never asked for details. It made a killer Bloody Mary.

Can’t find any rhyme or reason, just basing it on pics. Peppers, onions, garlic, tomatoes, olives, cucumber, lemons, limes, dill + salt and pepper. Guess I’ll tweak it after a couple days.

The Gulf in Orange Beach infuses their vodka for Bloody Mary’s.
Looking at their menu it says it’s infused with cucumber, red pepper, garlic, lemon, & peppercorn.

They have one out now called Legends 32 Trinity vodka that I am thinking might be good in a bloody marry. It smells like a container of Guidry's and has the same flavor...faint not over powering.

It was a good bloody, but there was something about it that just didn't seem right to me.

That’s what I was thinking, it has too. It was quite interesting to smell and taste the first time. I had a container of Guidry’s in the fridge and did a side by side smell. And it’s cheep win win.
Someone also said it made a great martini too. I didn’t know what else was mixed with it tho.

Went to City Pork in BR, near Blue Bayou, the other day and they had Ghost Pepper infused Vodka made by Anchorage Distillery in Alaska

Hmmmm, was it overly hot? Sounds interesting.
