It all depends.

Hot summer and nice bar? Kentucky mule or a lighter (not ipa) craft beer.

“ and trashy bar? Miller lite

Winter and nice? Porter/stout/ale craft

Winter and trash? Miller lite

Old Fashioned if I know the bartender,
Bees Knees, same with the bartender
Vieux Carre, same

Either a vodka tonic or gin and tonic if the bartender stinks

If it’s a country hole in the wall then a Heineken, two shots of Jim Beam, and a cigarette. If it’s a decent place then an old fashioned, followed by a Heineken, two shots of beam, and a cigarette

Tanqueray and tonic in a small glass with a lot of ice and just a splash of tonic. You'd be surprised how many bartenders I've encountered who struggled to fill that order properly.
