Dallas Keith chili:
5 lbs ground beef chuck
1 lb hot breakfast sausage
2 16oz cans of tomato sauce
2 10oz cans of chicken broth
2 10oz cans of beef broth
1 can of hot rotel
1 can of diced tomatoes
6 oz chili powder
2 tbs garlic powder
2 tbs onion powder
1 tbs sriracha sauce
1 oz table salt
1 oz cumin
1 oz cayenne pepper
1/2 tbs black pepper
1/3 cup ketchup
Brown all meat then mix in all ingredients into a large stock pot and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. This has won many chili cook offs and good luck!

Meat Church recipe is awesome. I just brown my onions for way longer though.

at least ask for a chili grind on the beef or even better cubed stew meat, ground beef is for hot dogs.

Look at Over the top chili if you have a smoker.

It is, and I was skeptical the first time. But I just cook em down a bunch and they continue to cook down the longer you simmer it. I also cook it in my smoker as opposed to on the stove. I refuse to cook chili any other way than this recipe now. Its so good

I made the best chili of my long life last week and the major change was adding cubed chuck roast to it. Frikin' fantastic.

We haven't made chili without cut up chunks of deer in years. It's great. So much better than using ground deer, which is pointless.

Cajun Power turns out some very good products.

Used this tonight for chili. Added pinto beans with jalapeños. Easy to cook.
Ate it with shredded cheese and frito scoops. It was excellent. Next time I’ll add some pork butt pieces.

The meat church recipe does look awesome. I am totally team bean at home because I love beans but I would do no bean for a competition.

Someone on here a while back mentioned adding Bloody Mary mix. We started doing that and it really adds a great flavor. We have been using the charleston LINK fresh and veggie one. It’s different but so good. It def increases the sodium so you have to careful if you eat a lot of it.

I used Meat Church's recipe twice last year and it's fantastic. Had to halve the Chipotles in Adobo sauce, because I found the whole 7oz can that it calls for is a little to hot for my liking.

Making a batch today with ground elk and stew meat I had in the freezer.
Basically followed that recipe but used a different chili seasoning and backed off the tomato ingredients some.

Mmmmm, this thread prompted me to make a batch tonight. Looks good!

Not sure what the feelings are in here, but I place ground beef chili in a different, lesser category than chili with cubed meat. I much prefer chunks to the chili dog style. I've had great versions of the ground meat mind, but I prefer the other.
