We usually drink French roast Starbucks just because it’s priced decent and easy to find etc. we also drink deathwish and Peet’s some as well. I drink coffee black and wife (no pics) adds some creamer not a lot.

Prefer whole beans. Side note we also looking at a moccamaster or bonavita brewers.

Check out the coffee barrels at Fresh Market. I get a pound of Colombian Single Origin and grind it in-store every two weeks to make my cold brew and it’s great.

I would try Community signature blend…I’ve tried lots of others and it is still my favorite. Not quite as dark as French roast Starbucks, but man it is rich!

At Christmas time Starbucks sells dark roast Christmas blend whole beans.

I also like their Verona and Italian roast.

Dunkin has a good dark roast too

Lavazza or La Colombe are both very good choices.

I really like dunkin whole beans. Ill try other ones to change it up but its been the go to for like 16 years. The Kroger brand is decent if its cheaper. Heb brand surprisingly bad imo.

One of my daughters did a teen tour in Asia a decade or so ago, and brought back a bag of the fermented civet shite bean coffee.

iirc, my wife found the idea a little too gross and might've had a sip, but otherwise left the bag for me. My memory is faded, but I think I remember it being a bit more subtle than regular coffee in some ways... not as acidic as light roasts or as bitter as dark roasts, and softened by the fermenting, which gave it a hard to describe earthy, gamey funk. More subtle than overwhelming and not bad, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again either.

If you want to gamble on something different, Barnie's German Chocolate Cake coffee is the best flavored coffee I've ever had.

Barnies

For context, my wife, who prefers dark roast coffee served black (usually Peet's Major Dickason's blend and sometimes Illy) likes the Barnies, too, even though she doesn't usually like medium roast.

Most flavored coffees taste terrible to me-- like cheap chemicals-- but Barnies has been consistently good. Haven't tried their whole bean coffees, so can't speak to those.

Stocking Mill Coffee.

LINK

Some folks on here recommended this a while back and I've ordered some several times. I love it.

They're based out of Daytona Beach, FL and it's a small, local place so I like giving them business and they'll ship anywhere.

Give them a shot.
