i think whats being overlooked is the fact that his mom (heather van norman) was an All American track star at LSU. the whole reason the kid went to newman was bc his mom was coaching at tulane at the time. i didnt really think his dad was in the picture...

i strongly encourage all of these idiots to rewatch the game like i did. it was waaaay better than i originally thought. a lot of the mistakes made are correctable and we should see an improved team against vandy. however, vandy is also improved so i doubt the margin of victory will satisfy the rant...

my prob with mccray in nickel was that he was a bit of a tweener. too small for lb and too slow for a db covering guys in the slot. he may be fine as a ss but i was looking forward to seeing taylor out there...
