I have a terrible beer confession to make.

I'll predate this by saying it is not a troll.
I've tried every beer I can get my hands on. I love english ales. I did the around the world a few times in college.
But I have a guilty pleasure.
If I see bottled Budweiser indicating it is extremely fresh, I have to grab a 12 pack of bottles. I salt my ice, add a little ice water, and chill them until they are almost bitterly cold.
It may sound silly, but it almost reminds me of a crisp cider. I know it is supposed to be shitty, but I can't help it.
I can't be the only one with a guilty pleasure.

If you take bottles and put them down for a long time, the taste changes to something fairly respectable as a beer.

I can't disagree with you. If I take the low road to something like hooters and they're doing day fresh ice cold Budweiser, I usually can't resist it. It's not like their selection of microbrews is worth s crap anyways, but that beer doesn't have a very clean appeal when it's that fresh.

Bud is too sweet to me. I'll drink it, but that underlying sweetness gets to me quick.
