Just curious where most people stand on this.

do you pick most of the fried skin off and eat separately, or do take big bites of meat and skin?

Depends on the piece.

Legs and wings, obviously eat everything at once.

Thighs and breasts, somewhat separately. Pull the skin, take a bite or 2, then put it to the side for later use. Next, pull the meat and eat inferior parts first. Then replace the leftover skin on the best pieces of meat and commence salivary destruction.

how dry is the chicken, or how crispy the skin is, is what determines how i eat it

They arrested Colonel Sanders of all people years ago for breaking the law - publicity stunt when he was in town for a restaurant opening.

Sometimes, I'll take the skin off and strip the meat from the bone, then fold it up in the skin and eat it like a taco. Works best with thighs.

I love the crispy parts. I try to have some in every bite to go along with the meat.

I know people like to shite on KFC (and it definitely isn't what it used to be), but I still love their extra crispy recipe. Crispy skin>greasy skin!

Usually meat and skin, but once the crispy skin is gone, I typically don't finish the rest of the chicken meat. I like the skin more than the meat.

Yeah Yeah I know he's from Houma, but, sage advice and much culinary wisdom is being spread by this one.
