Celebrating our 15 year anniversary in Houston this weekend and looking for a place to take the wife. Anywhere inside the loop.

It's been years but Vic and Anthony's was a favorite of ours back in the day.

I’m Intrigued! Seems like a good spot to take her for brunch on Sunday!

They had a good Crab Benedict for brunch last time I went. It was good. The crawfish etouffee was phenomenal. Make sure to order the Brussels. Best in the city.
Eunice has become our favorite restaurant in Houston. Never had a bad meal and we try something different each time.

I would second Hugo's in Montrose. Fantastic spot, NOT Tex-Mex. Except for the delicious margaritas.

It’s more on the trendy side than white tablecloth, but Nancy’s Hustle was fantastic when we went. The food is unique and all phenomenal.
The only minor complaint I had about the place was that tables were too close together, but with Covid we no longer have to worry about that anywhere.
IG says they reopen for dine in starting next week on the 23rd.

If you can get a table, go for it. Place is great. I think I went here the night of the Nba shutting down. Either way it was one my last meals out before the shut down

Turner's on Post Oak under Cafe Annie is great. Awesome atmosphere and piano bar. But it's expensive.
Congrats on the anniversary.

For brunch the next morning I highly recommend The Rustic. They have a fantastic brunch spread and good atmosphere

I mean Superica is good, but nothing about them really stands out.
Candente...their birria tacos are phenomenal.

I know I know. We had major damage from Laura so this trip is very much unplanned and very much needed. We need a break from hurricane recovery!
