Rooms are standard Hilton / Hampton Inn size. Nothing fancy and not tiny. Like others have said, it's a good location.

re: Made a 3 boned rib roast and it was

Posted by APT on 12/23/24 at 11:14 am to
I did a 4 bone, 11# roast this weekend.

Salted and stuffed with garlic overnight.
Pepper and more salt when I was ready to cook.

250 F until 115F internal.
Pulled and sat for 30 minutes.
Put it back in a 550F until 125F internal.

Pulled and carved, came out great. Going to make a broth with the ribs tomorrow.

Southport Raw Bar - hole in the wall off of Cordova. Great place.

15th St Fishery - mentioned above. Traditional place just down from Southport.

Coconuts - fun outdoor bar with great oysters and seafood on the bay side.

Takato Sushi - In the Conrad. Great food.

Casblanca Cafe - great atmosphere and really good food. Have a piano
downstairs. We always have a good time there.

Steak 954 in the W - good steak and seafood.

Stone crab season doesn't open until 10/15 if you were planning to go to Joe's in South Beach.

Didn't make much sense for them to fly to IAH anyway

Just easier access to people in North Houston and the Woodlands.

ETA - Same with ORD, if you are trying to get anywhere in North Chicago flying into ORD is much easier than Midway.

With a TI-85.
I flew out on the 6 am from Houston to Dallas with no problem this morning.

Flying back to Houston at 6:30 this evening and haven’t heard about any issues

Agreed but I can't find anything online that has the other characteristics with the red eyes. May just be an oddball Whistler?

Looks like a young Mexican Whistling Duck.
Better because the past is past and the future is now!

Second on Alpine Haus, great German.

McAdoo’s is a great seafood place and has an awesome bar and atmosphere. Right next door is Myron’s steakhouse.

Gristmill is always a good place to eat.

Great place to relax at lunch and have some pretty good pizza.
Call the Antiquarium in Houston. Or The Old Print Shop or Arader Gallery in NYC. They will be able to give you an idea for wholesale, auction or direct sale.

ETA - that’s an awesome map.

Second Chris Madrids. Great burger and cool place.

De Wese’s Tip Top Cafe for plate lunches.

Broadway 50/50 for burgers and beer. Kids should be good there.

Alamo Cafe on 281. Close to a bowling alley so you can do that with the kids.

I'm going to ABQ for the first time for work. Any suggestions for restaurant and hotels?

Played this last night with the kids. We
loved it.
Agreed, the toxic ones would be toxic and lazy with or without the money. And the good ones would be good hard workers with out without the money as well.

Joe's is great for Stone Crab.
Milo's is a great Mediterranean seafood restaurant close by.
Really like Katsuya in the SLS as well. Great sushi in cool spot.
If you make it to downtown Il Gabbiano is amazing.
