Has anyone else found the quality of the tortillas to have gone down hill? I used to buy them on a weekly basis, but the last 3-4 packages I have bought have been awful. They were either rock hard or they tear upon trying to separate them.

i love hola nola tortillas...i didnt notice but yes the last pack i bought were shitty, but they were the last pack on the shelf prior to the hurricane, so i just figured they were old.

Wonder if the fire in the factory had anything to do with the quality

Yep, they all stick together now. I think they are being stored differently after the fire. Likely putting them in fridge before totally cooled, and condensation is making them stick

I noticed a lesser quality as well. My assumption was they were ripping them out of the factory as fast as possible and bagging them too hot.

I quit buying them because they stick together and rip when you try to separate them

I grabbed a pack off the shelf Sunday and realized they were sticking together. I used to put them in the fridge at work and this would happen so I figured they'd been refrigerated at some point.

Do yourself a favor and set an alarm for Monday’s at 10 am. Go to Flores tortillas website and order those. We don’t go without a dozen in the freezer at all times now.

Never heard of Flores but just ordered 2 dozen for the hell of it. Hope you're right!

We used to get the Hola Nola low carb tortillas, but the past few times they've been falling apart. Had to switch back to Mission for the low carb ones.

Bummer to hear people are having the same issues. I did not know they had a fire, that has to have something to do with it.

Yes the whole plant basically went down. All the grease burned for almost an entire day.

Chances are they are old? What was the date on the sticker?

Honestly, their bean dip is my favorite product from them.
