And its ....well kinda disappointing tbh . Maybe some items will taste amazing but at first glance its seems boring, Like a more limited version of SoLou.. I was hoping for a return to form like the old Sammy's ....a neighborhood bar and grill that has great reasonably priced comfort food in casual environment . This is a different direction.

Kind of shocked they are turning it into a nicer place. Seems like if you would copy the old Sammy's and cook good food, you could be successful there. I guess we shall see. Good luck to them.

Yea, the menu, as limited as it is... is all over the place. I think this photo sums it up....a Coach's sausage plate.....on a silver platter..

Definitely overrated by some folks here. I mean I've had some decent meals there, but nothing spectacular... and their boiled crawfish are plain bad

I dont remember it being purple. The hallway went back to the bathroom, rear seating area behind the bar(they may have closed that off at some point) and you could cut through to the other side where the main dining area was located. The bar side still had the old dive bar look to it.
