It’s good mixed with some ranch seasoning as well.

I like it with Catalina dressing and cracked pepper. Great snack

Growing up, the only time we ate it was with fruit. My wife only ate it with salt/pepper, so I tried it that way, and it’s pretty great. I really like it with a heavy dash of Cavendar’s Greek Seasoning. I also scoop it on salads and use less ranch.
Daisy low fat is my go to- just 3 ingredients.

We have to buy 3 tubs every week. I don't really eat it plain though.
We make sauces with it, put it in eggs, or whip it and use it for spreads on toast or bagels
my daily 3 pm snack is toasted sourdough with whipped cottage cheese and honey

Whoa...just had a flashback to my mom's lasagna. Core memory unlocked.

Had some this morning with everything bagel seasoning sprinkled on top. I like Daisy 2%. I actually like the curd texture.

I find it disgusting, but the people up north around the likes of Minnesota and Wisconsin love that shite, they literally eat it as their primary side for most dishes

Anderson Erickson brand cottage cheese is vastly better than anything you get around here. When in the Midwest for hunting I try to bring back a couple tubs.

Mine too. She did it on half because my father hated it.
It became popular in the 1970’s as a diet food and the cookbooks of the day were using it. Better Homes and Gardens etc…which is where a lot of those old dishes came from. (Pineapple salad with mayo and
Cheddar cheese)
And no one outside of maybe some Italian neighborhoods had even heard of ricotta much less used it.
And I also ate it with salt and pepper. Borden’s brand. Still do.

Well, I live in Duluth and don’t see it THAT often. Now I’ll have to pay more attention.
But, Gerald Ford was a Michigander, and his favorite lunch was cottage cheese with A1 and raw onions, often paired with a gin martini.
Nixon liked it with ketchup.

When i was a kid I dindt like tomatos or cottage cheese...... or so i thought. My best friends mom served us some fresh garden tomatos with some cottage cheese a little sea salt and some fresh cracked pepper, I tried it and it I was hooked. One of my favorite snacks now.
