This is almost as bad as the Hooters suggestion.

Only time I've had them they were sandy. Not a fan of a gritty crunch when eating shrimp.

My vote is cosmos and fishers. The seafood I've had there sucks compared to la. There is a good pizza place about 100 min east of florabama

Go to Destin next time....

Destin is so 1997. No thanks. I would go to my Seaside Gulf front beach house but I’m having hand cut Italian mable flooring installed. I bought the marble quarry it was mined from last time I stayed at my villa in Tuscany.

What's nice about Alabama/Florida seafood is the availability of things like a grouper sandwich.

I've never tried one. I just know we went to one of the steamer places and it was the worst seafood I have ever had.

Except most places along there will overcook them.

And The Gulf has the best one in GS/OB, IMO. Just wish they had a better beer selection.

Bills By The Beach in Gulf Shores. ALMOST beachfront, but a good view from the outdoor seating area. Had the Bacon and Crab Cheesecake for appetizer (Great!). I had the Seafood Pot Pie (highly recommended) and wife said the Blackened Shrimp was likely done by a Cajun who knows how to cook shrimp. Recommended. Prices are a bit higher than standard beach fare, but the quality here justified the price.

Shipps had a fire in July and never reopened. Fishers bought building and is opening a restaurant called Playa in April. It’s a Mexican style menu. Shipps was my favorite though.

Sea n suds has the best cheese sticks ever. Cosmos has an incredible steak. Great cheese dip and salad too. Gulf is fun and food isn’t bad.
