Pad Krapow Moo Kai Dao
Ground Pork
Red bell pepper, chopped finely
A couple shallots, chopped finely
A few cloves of garlic, chopped finely
Fish sauce
Hoisin sauce
A little brown sugar
A little white sugar
A splash of white wine
Thai basil, a good handful finely shopped
scallions, finely chopped
cayenne pepper or thai chili, finely chopped
Brown the meat.
Add the shallots, garlic, hot peppers, and bell pepper to cook for a minute or two.
Add in the fish sauce, hoison, sugars, and wine. Cook for another minute or two.
Remove from heat and add the scallions and basil. Stir it all around.
Serve over jasmine rice and top with a runny fried egg.
I kept the ingredient amounts vague because it's up to you how strong you want some of those flavors. We make this a lot because it's quick and I usually have all of the ingredients on hand, though sometimes I use ground turkey instead of pork.

Season it up and use 50/50 pork and beef to make a meat sauce for pasta.
I have also used 50/50 pork and beef to make chili in a pinch.
Same for both. The pork brings a flavor to the dish that beef alone doesn't.

I like it in omelets, along with several other ingredients.

I love pork pot stickers with ginger etc...
You could also make a pork wonton soup.
If you like breakfast casseroles, that's an easy use and quite tasty.
Breakfast burritos
Pork sloppy joes

Do you like Butcher Box?

I have done meatballs as well but I am going to try so many of these recipes.
I used to get butcher box years ago but it didn't do well sitting on the carport in the LA heat when I worked. I signed back up during the lockdown and now we work from home. I like the convenience and the portion size for just my husband and I. Price is comparable to fresh market, Costco organic, etc.

If seasoned properly, Scotch Eggs. I also love to use it in cabbage rolls.

Make a great Thanksgiving rice dressing or stuff it in bell peppers
I like to use it when I'm making a burger on the grill...60% beef and 40% pork...
