I disagree. Green Flash WCIPA is a west coast IPA. Pliny is a west coast IPA. Grace and grit is a west cost IPA. All of which I thoroughly enjoy.

November ghost was a bag of shite.

I drain poured a half a bottle and gave 7 away. Life is too short to drink bad beer.

Try Father Nelson. That's dank hops. Sorry parish brewed rubbing alcohol and called it a double IPA. You people are bigger homers than I am, and it's in my back yard.

When I'm itching for a west coast IPA I'll stick with great raft. They're doing the best things in the state.

boudini is one of two, maybe three people on this board who will go to war with people that talk shite about Pliny. LST and maybe Bmoney I guess are the other two. That beer wasn't very good. It wasn't the "dankness" that was the problem. It was hot as hell too.

I strongly disagree. It was not a bad beer to my palate. It might not be Ghost at its best, but it would still score high marks in a competition.

I wouldn't call that batch light, clean, smooth, or restrained. But what do I know? All I drink is Envie.

I didn't get any heat, but I also had it at Christmas, which may have tempered any fusels that were present early on after packaging.

Dem danky Albuquerque hops, doe. Bosque Scale Tipper was very similar when I had it.

I liked West Coast Ghost. Other than the two bottles out of my eight that seemed more like Two Hearted, which I wasn't crazy about. The other six were what a more alcohol Elevated (before it went bad) would be, in my non-maven opinion.

Rouse's on Clearview had a few four packs of DDH Envie this morning. I believe $13.

I've got a case and a half in my fridge. Great stuff.

Well maybe I lucked out with the November bottles of Ghost I bought, because other than two of them that seemed to have a more amber characteristic, the others tasted better, in my non-maven opinion, than the last few bottles of Pliny friends have brought me.
