The quality of frozen pizza has risen tenfold over the past 2 decades. I haven't ordered from a pizza chain in years. What's the point when you can buy a frozen pizza that's just as good or better for half the price at the grocery store?

Are any of you still keeping dominos and pizza hut in business?

My kids love Papa Johns. I despise it. There’s a local place that delivers that is pretty good.

But I agree frozen has gotten a lot better and is just as good or better than the big chain places.

I haven’t ordered pizza from the big chains in years, a local joint beats the brakes off dominos, papa John’s or Pizza Hut all day long.

I will also slay a tombstone frozen pizza before ordering dominos every time

I got a take and bake pizza from the Target deli a few weeks ago and I was surprised how good it was. Easily on par with most of the big national chains, if not better.

There really isn’t a decent delivery/pickup option left amongst the big four. The quality has fallen so far across the board and it’s still falling.

The last few times we've had pizza if it wasn't a frozen pizza it was Papa Murphy's. There's also an Italian restaurant fairly close that we will get one from occasionally. The chain joints have all gone to shite.

Best frozen Ive had was from Costco. Its a detroit style deep dish. Worth a try.

Its called "Motor City Pizza Company Ultimate Meat"

I can eat their thin crust, that's it. Their dough is terrible. We have a Marco's close by now, so that's our go to on the weekend.

I'd rather eat a $0.99 Totino's than Domino's.

I prefer dominos thin crust to any frozen pizza but we almost always have a couple of Red Barons in the freezer

i'll always go with chain delivery because i want some chicken or bread too. dominos 2+ for $6.99 makes it pretty reasonable

Frozen pizzas still taste worse than dominos, pizza hut and Papa John's.
