Fettucini, it's cheese sauce over noodles and a protein
Fettuccine is the pasta. Alfredo is the sauce.
(Sorry, but it's crazy that around here "Fettuccine Alfredo" is sometimes served on rotini or penne or some other pasta. It's only fettuccine if that's the pasta you're using.)

While it's certainly overdone in many circles, it's hard to wrong with some kind of grilled meat filled with jalapeños and cream cheese and then wrapped in bacon.
Only if you are trying to hide the actual flavor of the meat.

Anything that involves the combination of jalapenos, cream cheese and bacon
Yes, a thousand times yes. I am so sick of "gourmets" who think cream cheese, bacon, and jalapenos are the end of the world. Every duck camp, tailgate or Superbowl party is rife with this crap. Get over it, please.

I disagree. It's a nice complement, not a mask.

I second sushi, and I used to love it. Ever since I read up on how much of it is low quality bullshite.
My issue is that I've now become a sushi snob. Unless I'm paying more money than I should for sushi, I'm probably not going to eat sushi.
Between bullshite counterfeit fish and terrible rice, I just won't do "regular" sushi anymore.

If you are trying store bought, that is the reason. Fresh baked is so much better, the ones in the stores are days old at best.
Restaurant bought, which is probably store bought in a lot of cases. Good point.

Are you talking about jalapeno poppers? I don't think I could get tired of that. Though I do change up the spices that I mix with the sausage and cream cheese. And I don't use bacon.
So I guess my answer is bacon being used with everything. I want bacon for breakfast, on burgers, and maybe wrapped around shrimp.

Italian cuisine
Mexican
bread of any sort
I'd say pho, but I was never into it to begin with.

It's not just the poppers. Chicken thighs, duck breasts, pork tenderloins, shrimp, all stuffed with cream cheese and jalapenos then wrapped in bacon. I just find it's overdone and unimaginative.

Agreed on the cream chz peppers thing.
Not food, but I'm over the whole craft beer thing. It was fun at first, but now it's just annoying.

I agree with the Mexican. All fats, carbohydrates and sodium.
Italian though, is vegetables, herbs spices, healthy tomato sauce and chicken. If you want to go with pasta and rich sauces, you can. If you want to eat healthfully and more Mediterranean, Italian is internationally recognized as one of the best ways to prepare herbs and spices that create good taste in food.

I'll go with beets. Seems like they were a trendy item on lots of menus there for a while, but I got my fill.
Also the whole "build your own burrito" thing, like at Izzo's.
Also, the fettuccine Alfredo you find in 95% of restaurants is the crap Americanized version. True Alfredo consists only of cheese and butter, a splash of the leftover pasta water, and a little salt and pepper.

Tiramisu. I don't understand how something that basically didn't exist 30 years ago, seemingly overnight one day became a quintessential "traditional Italian dessert" such that it absolutely HAS TO BE on the dessert menu of every Italian restaurant everywhere. It's a funny phenomenon.
