That seems to be a more recent thing though, I can't recall it ever being touted as the official food of Nashville when I was younger, but I could be wrong

Lamendola’s jam is pretty good, but my favorite store/restaurant bought jambalaya is the one Murray’s in neighboring St. Amant makes every Saturday.
