Why would you not eating 5 guys often be common knowledge?

fricking millennials and their social media twitbooks.

How is two burgers, one fry, and a hot dog enough for a family of four? Is one still being breast fed?

Not only that, they don’t season their patties. At all. When I read that, I realized why I always found their burgers lacking.

before they rapidly expanded, i'm talking like at least 10 to 15 years ago, i found it to be pretty good for a quick service restaurant.

today, not so much. i actually like smashburger better in terms of qsr but they don't seem to stay in business. i think they have a good product (considering) but hire really crappy people and it ruins the experience for the customer and ruins the business for the franchise owner.

Two half pound burgers with cheese and bacon
“One fry” from 5 guys feeds 4
A hot dog

That’s 3,600 calories, without counting the milkshake or any condiments.

Kids split a burger
Mommy gets the dog
Big daddy gets the other burger
Family splits the fries

Oh. I didn’t notice they got the double patty burger. But I don’t want to be in your family of four if Mom gets stuck with the hot dog.

I guess you could just say all of the burger chain places are over priced.

I don't eat at any of them often enough for it to bother me, but aren't Atomic Burger, Shake Shack, Five guys, etc all going to be about the same?

Me and small ball just stopped at one in West Monroe. 2 bacon cheeseburgers, 1 regular fry, 1 hot dog, 1 medium milkshake. $40. Holy shite!

Yall get ready for everything to go up. There have been tons of shortages. It will take the industry a little while to catch up pricing . I think a lot of company's are afraid of raising prices because they not raise enough. The summer is going to be brutal.

Well the two bacon cheeseburgers + fries + hot dog come out to 3630 calories. The milkshake easily puts it over 4K, probably closer to 4500 calories. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to say that 1100 calories per person (much of which comes from fats and carbs) is more than enough to make 4 people feel full.

It’s already happening.

Cooking oil, beef, produce, and drink rising costs are certainly already affecting a place like 5 Guys. The one “saving grace” is labor costs, since no one wants to work right now. It’s all balancing out now but it’ll really shoot up if anything happens with minimum wage requirements. Then you can really expect to pay at the pump, so to speak

Add in most of the fast food places are also overpriced. At least at a place like 5 guys, you might get treated like a normal person. Popeyes and Wendys you expect to get treated like complete shite, while overpaying for their food.

shite yea. May have left a few fries but it was a lot of damn fries. And it was good. I just didn’t realize how expensive it is. $17 for a burger and fries is excessive. As is a a $6 hot dog and $5 milk shake. As Vincent Vega can testify

It’s pretty high, but when you can add mushrooms and grilled onion for no extra charge, it makes it a little better. Being able to share a ‘small’ fry helps, too

I had no idea so many dudes couldn’t handle a burger and fries without becoming a fatass or dying. The 2nd thing I’ve learned today after 5 Guys being expensive

That was pretty outrageous when that movie was released in the mid 90s but now that's pretty standard.
