I always mule beer when I'm in and around Alexandria. I never try to buy. If so, I might try the Albertson's right there on Jackson, they have a decent selection. Probably some Envie to be had. And of course Finnegan's is the best beer bar in the city.
Next up now that I'm home, some dubiously dated Commotion. No idea on the date, but it's pretty damn malty. Then again...that's normal.

I thought the color looked way wrong too, but it's always darker than Envie.

Last time I remember buying Commotion was Mardi Gras. My friend told me I left it in their fridge and dropped it off yesterday. I don't think it was any of my MG cans, so no telling how old it was. The color was really off, but I think some of that might be lighting as well -- this Gubna looks a little darker too.
