What ever happened to Lone Pint's Yellow Rose? I don't see anybody drinking that anymore, and I thought it was a great beer.

Damn, I miss Stink...

If it is indeed a baby Ghost, then why does it still have "American Pale Ale" on the label? It's not an APA anymore, it's an IPA.

Personally, I think that was a mistake. Like it or not, perception affects what people drink. Many people will not know that the recipe has been radically changed, and bypass it.

Still others, will be influenced by the ratings on Beer Advocate, and bypass it because it is in the "good" category, and not in the "very good", "excellent", or "world class" categories.

I think they should have tweaked it, and created a whole new beer for this new recipe. The excitement over this new beer would have created a bigger PR event for Parish.

Having said that, they probably have other plans for a new IPA, and haven't announced them, yet.

It's small and local enough that the people that need to know it has been updated know.

The ratings and reviews will spread and increase over time.

I was kind of wondering about this myself.

It reminded me of stringer bell in Econ 1001 learning about repacking/renaming.

I actually saw it at a store for the first time since living here. I dont know why but it seems hard to find in bottles in my area.
