Power to the people!

I agree something needs to be done about stores keeping beers way too long..I almost got burned today but I checked the date and put it back...date was July of 12.

if the office looks like it is under control then I sneak off to the trail.
24 miles had to take you at least around 3 hours (and that is if you are a really great runner ~ Boston Marathon qualifier kind of runner). The office had to be under control by 11?

Anyways, Santa Fe brewery produces some great beers. I tried a few of their beers in Denver not too long ago.

I was really craving this today on my run and stopped at a little place that I had seen it at before. Grab a bottle and checked the drink by date and it was October 20........12!!! WTF! they had one other bottle with the same date. Throw that in the trash before some gets it and says, "Yeah, it wasn't that good, I don't get the hype"

That Vertical Jewbelation was really good. Glad I got to try it. It is a sipper. 10.5% from what I remember. But nice rye bourbon flavor to it that's not overpowering.

nevermind, I didn't see the "enjoy by" on top of that I definitely don't seem to be enjoying it as much as I thought I would, from the raves it's gotten. Turns out it's kind of old.. why does it seem to be so hard to get a fresh IPA out here? Time for Parish to make a good IPA since Hopitoulas is probably the best we have around here.

Eta

I guess I should mention FBD - Stone Ruination. I worked out twice today..

2BD (and last BD) is Brooklyn BCS. damn good. I see why Kim drinks so much of this. On the plus side, it should fill me up until dinner time

FBD is a Sierra Nevada 30th Anniversary Grand Cru. Probably better 3 years ago fresh. Still tasty.
