I agree something needs to be done about stores keeping beers way too long..I almost got burned today but I checked the date and put it back...date was July of 12.

Anyways, Santa Fe brewery produces some great beers. I tried a few of their beers in Denver not too long ago.

That Vertical Jewbelation was really good. Glad I got to try it. It is a sipper. 10.5% from what I remember. But nice rye bourbon flavor to it that's not overpowering.

I definitely don't seem to be enjoying it as much as I thought I would, from the raves it's gotten. Turns out it's kind of old.. why does it seem to be so hard to get a fresh IPA out here? Time for Parish to make a good IPA since Hopitoulas is probably the best we have around here. Eta
I guess I should mention FBD - Stone Ruination. I worked out twice today..

FBD is a Sierra Nevada 30th Anniversary Grand Cru. Probably better 3 years ago fresh. Still tasty.
