If/when I smoke I’ll just run it lower

- mine was running at 300F+ when set at 225, and 347F when set to 250. The guy with costumer service said they recommend sticking a drip pan under the grate and that should help some. Hope you have better luck than me.
I got one a few weeks ago, but I’m sending it back. The temperatures are erratic at best and constantly measure 70-100F over the “actual temp” display. I learned this after ruining a brisket in record time. I’ve setup a probe at the grate and tried to calibrate the temps with the offset function, but never got it close. Others on different forums have done much more in depth tests than me to show how off the temps are, so it’s not an isolated problem. After talking to costumer service and trouble shooting it myself, just not worth the headache.
There’s an entire website dedicated to debunking Lazar. Seems people that want to believe him never bother to read through it.

Ah, thanks... So, what is their stance on climate change, I wonder?

Glad you asked. They just happen to have an entire department dedicated to climate change initiative. Here's the overview of what they believe, and it's just purely a coincidence that it lines up with what they recommend to stop the virus.

9 things you can do about climate change
Electric/hybrid vehicles have always been a scam sold as "green" alternatives to gas/diesel vehicles. You are correct that it's basically a shift, but batteries are arguably worse for the environment in the long term because the materials to make them are much more toxic than petro fuels. Also, we don't really have a way to dispose of them or recycle them.

The other thing is that the power grid works as a sine wave for the load throughout the day (max consumption at peak hours in the middle of the day), so the power companies have been trying to make the load more linear for years. Cars with batteries that will most likely be charged at night is one of their solutions to drive the load up during the typically low points. If they can get the load to be close to the traditionally max load through most of the day, they can produce more power/make more money. As with most things, it comes down to making more money regardless of the consequences.

“Paid to play Mississippi”

Documentary?

- It's actually called Foul Play and it's by SB Nation/Godfrey. I just finished it (4 part series about 30 minutes each). I would highly recommend anyone that's been following the Wade stuff to watch it.

When I used to work at mamacitas before it closed, I was training to be a server one Sunday night when swaggart came in with his group of kiss asses. He ordered the fajita salad, and all the rest of the group got the same thing. When I was giving swaggart his bowl of French dressing (with a ton of oil separated to the top), I caught the bowl on the lip of the tray and dumped the entire bowl of oily French dressing into his lap. He didn’t tip me (not that anyone from his church ever did), but he did “god bless” me.

Btw-doesn't bleach freeze long before -20? Not sure Kinda hard to throw frozen bleach on someone.

- A: Yes, bleach does freeze. There are various concentrations of bleach, and each will respond at a different temperature. The chlorine content of the bleach will determine at what point the bleach will freeze. If you are talking about a bottle of household belach, then it will be around 18 or 19 degrees F.

Since you'll never take the time to read Blacklisted by History, here is a summary of the book and an interview with the author discussing why McCarthy wasn't the monster the left wrongly made him into (and that he was actually right).

According to the business filing for the state of Maryland, it was registered in 1986.

If only there was a place to get things defined:

smear cam·paign
smi(?)r kam'pan/
noun
a plan to discredit a public figure by making false or dubious accusations.
A lot of jobs have no need for 40 hour work weeks. Most workers will only do about 4 hours of actual work on any given day and find ways to not do any work the rest. There have been studies done where they dropped the work day down to 6 hours and had nothing but positive results. Productivity actually went up along with worker happiness/moral. Most people don't want to lose their job and will get their work done before the deadline, so if you shorten the day, they will just be more efficient finishing their work on time. Less bullshitting around.

Then you should know it has a lot less to do with the beans than it does the brew/method used.

- that's just false. The brew method is just one part of what shapes the flavor. The majority of commercial coffee being discussed in this thread is arabica, but there are many more varieties that have very different characteristics. Also, where the fruit is grown shapes it's characteristic (so, the same fruit can be grown in different regions/altitudes and produce different characteristics). The roast level will make a huge difference in the flavor too. granted, if you're mostly drinking dark roasts, everything probably does taste the same since none of the origin characteristics will be left. Just char.

Not to turn this into a global warming debate, but only a very small minority predicted "global cooling" in the 70s. The majority still predicted global warming.

- so, what happened in 1972 that could have caused a major shift to "global warming" on that graph? Kind of interesting how things go.

thus board actually thinks pure unregulated capitalism is a good thing for society. the free market would RAPE the internet. look at every industry the past 20 years. any excuse to make a fricking dollar.

- Go ahead and name all the times in the past 20 years there were zero regulations/involvement from the government, and a true free market existed.

Wade said high ankle sprain and out 3-4 weeks is the initial diagnosis.
I love conspiracy theories, but if this group was willing to kill children for sacrifices...wouldn't they have just killed this guy when he was showing signs of defecting? Doesn't seem they would have any problems with that.
