Favorite summer fruit?

Probably more geograhpic dependent than anything, but fresh peaches that you buy at the farmer's market and then allow to ripen bit more on the window sill above the sink - 15/10. Delicious. Peaches, a slice or two of bacon and a gin/tonic are a meal, IMO.

Homemade peach or banana ice cream, preferably pool side

Ice cold watermelon with a pinch of sea salt on it too for the summer time win

I just finished cutting up a Cantaloupe and cleaned strawberries. I also got some sweet corn for tomorrow.

Have a local farmer 2 blocks from where I'm staying.

Primarily grown on the Pacific Coast is the olallieberry, a cross between a logan berry and a young berry. Depending on the weather it's season is approx 6 - 7 weeks from Memorial day to the 4th of July. It's flavor is like no other.
