i go with salt and pepper then if i feel like it i add garlic and onion powder to it

if you want a great burger mince up a whole onion and add to 2 lbs ground beef seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, and half a can bread crumbs.

its great and tastes like a meatloaf burger

1.2lbs of ground chuck
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 Tablespoons of Hickory Liquid Smoke

Mix well. Make 3 equal patties. Leave patties in fridge for 1 hour. Remove and cook to medium at the most.

Downvotes incoming, but try it one time.

Salt Red Pepper and a few drops of Worcester sauce does the trick for me.
