In town for a wedding and went for dinner last night. I’ve only had it once before but it was catered so I’d never had it on site.

I’ve heard it’s really good, but was concerned it had been overhyped. All I can say is holy shite - it’s insane how good that place is.

Got the fajitas with beef and chicken and couldn’t stop eating. Best Tex Mex I’ve ever had.

Those tortillas with the butter? Get the hell out of town. Outstanding.

I can say for the first time that I’m very jealous of Houston.

It’s good. Laurenzo’s is better in my opinion.

Go back and get the carnitas. They're delicious.

Our favorite place. We drive in to Houston from Austin County for it. Enjoy! Excellent suggestion on the carnitas. Get them old school style.

Order the Las Vegas plate. The Goat Tex mex combo. Fajitas, cheese enchilada with the brisket sauce and a crispy taco.

Try the cannonballs. Stuffed avocados that are deep fried.

It's awesome. I've been in Houston for 4 years and I think I've eaten at El Tiempo more than any other place.

Carne Asada La Tana and Old School Carnitas are my go tos. Usually at lunch pricing. Throw in a Las Vegas plate if want some variety.

Love the carnitas there. I used to live nearby (washington location which is best IMO) and would go next door to their market and buy all the meat and home made tortillas for cooking at home too.

Ninfa’s on Navigation is great. I think you’re the first person I’ve seen put Lupe Tortilla over it.

Still don't understand the hype for that place. El Tiempo prices with Gringos quality.

At least in my experience. Maybe I've eaten at the wrong ones.

lupe tortillas vary by location. for example the salsa in Katy sucks but the one in cypress is much better.
