due to their lease being bought out. According to their IG post, they will reopen in a new location in Baton Rouge at a later date.

I don't live in Louisiana but visited Dragos a few times when traveling there. The seafood pasta is very good.

It is disgusting.

Pulling a quasi-Ralph and Kacoo's-Bluebonnet.

The first and last time I frequented the BR location I ordered a chicken and andouille gumbo and quite literally had a half of an andouille sausage piece in the gumbo. Only positives I could come up with for a $15.00 bowl of gumbo was the rice wasn’t overcooked and the stock to roux ratio was passable.

Haven’t been back. The only thing I took from it was if you can’t muster enough skills to pull off a gumbo or expedite properly when there’s nobody in the restaurant for the most part, I don’t trust you can pull off anything more complicated than that. Felt like a giant sting operation, and me the sucker.

Probably did well with all the hotels nearby…but the location is hard to get to and out of…..was always crowded

The one in Metairie is pretty good. The other ones not so much.

I've only been to Drago's once, and that was the one in Metairie. I was pretty underwhelmed.

I couldn't imagine it being any better in BR in an old video store.

I wish them the best, but not surprised.

ETA: They did have a pretty cool looking logo. Kudos to whoever came up with that.

When in the area, I'll usually go to Dragos for a dozen (or two) chargrilled, and then go someplace else (usually Kanno) for the rest.
