What kind of dog treats do you guys give your dogs? I have an older lab and he is getting spoiled in his old age.
The same ole treats aren't cutting it for him. First world dog problems I know. Just curious to see what you guys give your dogs.

All my dogs have loved vegetables. Squash, apples, watermelon hell even garlic.

The only ones that satisfy both the Rottweiler and the Chihuahua are Purina Beggin Strips. I've tried a lot of them, but those work the best with the dogs I have.

I buy salmon training treats for my dogs. They are small, only about 3 calories a treat. My large dogs don’t know the difference between 1 treat or 20.

There are a few pit bull owners on the OT, I think their treat of choice is live babies.

My youngest dog is a year old. I can still use her regular dog food as treats. Works just fine.
My old dog doesn’t really care. She’ll still sit or shake and all that if you really want her to, but she’d rather not.

Different brands of dried whole little fish.
It’s like crack cocaine to them.

Right now, they get a milk bone and a Shameless Pets Peanut Butter & Banana treat when they go in their kennels. They love to hover under me any time I’m at the counter for scraps, which is fine unless I’m cutting onions. They love carrots and cucumbers.

I keep a head of cabbage in the fridge. I'll tear off a whole leaf and give one to each of my pups every now and then. They love the crunch and it's cheap as hell.

Iced oatmeal cookies, nutter butters, cheap hot dogs (not the ones with red dye), Gravy Bones, bacon, sausage, fried eggs, any meat, chicken, pork scraps from any meals. And granola bars.
They love granola bars which makes sense since they eat the sweet feed I give to the horses.
