Awesome. Nothing better than enjoying lunch to sound of a fricking dog slobbering in his water bowl.

The HORROR! Actually a testament to you that you can even keep your food down!

I'd say certainly any of the Chinese buffet restaurants would fill the bill.

To the letter of LA health codes, no dogs are supposed to be in eating establishments, even outdoors.

Also, let's not forget that keeping wildlife, an amphibious rodent, for uh, domestic, you know, within the city - that aint legal either.

Please don't to to Paris, or you will have major issues.

I’ve been to Paris more than 50X and dogs/animals in restaurants haven’t been nearly as prevalent as others would have you to believe. Dog piss on the sidewalk, yes. I’d argue that until recently pets on domestic flights were a much worse problem.

I spent 3 years working on the Mediterranean coast in France, mostly living in a hotel and eating in restaurants. I would say more nights than not someone had a dog with them in the restaurant and I don’t recall one dog ever causing a problem. That was 15 years ago, so maybe it is different now. I don’t know.

I will say this - French dogs were much better behaved than most dogs in the US.

They don’t have pit-bulls on steroids in Paris?

Why? No way in hell I'd take anyone out to eat at a restaurant with them wanting to bring a damn dog----or any other pet for that matter.

Man, I thought it was just me. I love dogs but I have never understood why people feel the need to bring their pet to a restaurant. The worst part is most of them feel like their dog has more of a right to be there than people. I saw one "Karen" almost go postal on a customer and a manager because, the customer complained about her dog being there and the manager telling her that the dog couldn't stay if another patron complained about it.

If she wont go out to eat unless its somewhere, she can bring her dog. You have all the information already to make a well informed decision on weather to move on or not. Bruh give her the deuces.

I’m the same. I’m understanding of bringing a dog to a bar every once in a while, but I know people who try to bring their dog literally everywhere. It’s also almost exclusively doodle dog owners and doodle dogs are among some of the worst behaved dogs. Basically people who 10 years ago would’ve had undisciplined toy breeds now have undisciplined 80+ lbs dogs and bring them everywhere. /rant

Wrong. I go to Paris fairly often, despise dogs at restaurants, and don't have "major issues". It's not anymore prevalent than places like New Orleans where hipsters and other stupid fricks feel the need to drag their mutt along with them.

It's been common throughout Europe for a few decades, as I suspect you know

Which is her point, probably made in the anticipation that dogs at restaurants are some uniquely American hipster thing

Check out Magazine Street, lot of outside dining with dogs. If you dig the girl, you better like the dog.
