Depends how hungry I am.

If I had to rank them in my order of preference it would be:

1a. Filet
1b. Ribeye

2. NY Strip

Used to prefer ribeye but over the past year my taste has changed. The lip of a ribeye was one of my favorite bites of food. Now I find it too fatty. From the list I’d go with strip.

I find myself buying more sirloin than anything. Alberstson’s has very well marbled prime sirloins on sale right now. Cooked one last night and it was great. Cooked a prime ribeye tonight and it was just too rich.

Same. I just can’t justify the calories and fat on a ribeye. I good cut or sirloin or filet is just fine for me with half the calories.

Ribeye, but I won't turn my nose up at a nice N.Y. Strip.

I like to buy those top sirloins whole in the vacuum pack when on sale. I will then let them age a couple of weeks in the bag. After aging I slice them two or even three inches thick. The resulting steak weighs 2-3 pounds. I will grill that on a hot charcoal grill flipping several times. I serve it sliced. It is very good.

Straight up steak--ribeye is the best.

I prefer less than mid-rare and that doesn’t let ribeye render enough.

Strip
Sirloin
Filet
Ribeye

I will never understand the appeal of a filet.

Tenderloin has a great mouth feel because it's so tender. There's no denying that.

It just doesn't have the best flavor due to lack of marbled fat.

It's a really nice cut.

Ribeye has the most flavor but also has the most fat. I love a filet cooked medium rare.
