Too bad it's tonight... this would be the perfect time to use really cute/on-theme swizzle sticks

I read between the lines and figured that was the case. I just figured they'd still know what to do if anyone walked up and asked for a Jack and Coke (although Tabby's Blues Box used to hand them out separately, so who knows?).
Good to know y'all straightened it out.

This.

I have instructed them to give their vodka mixers a quick swirl of a spoon. The same for whiskey and waters.
Unnecessary.

I
quote:ice, whiskey, soda, hand it to guest. If you are worried about the drink not being stirred, I would make sure you have straws. That can be used to stir.
How bout this. Should I tell these "bartenders" to pour in the whiskey/coke and hand it to the person, have them mix from cup to cup before handing it to the person, or just stir with a spoon and hand it to the person?

Just wait until you turn 25 and start drinking whiskey without soda

You gonna let them cook their own food too?

But I don't remember if they mixed it or just poured in the two components.
So they gave you a cup of whiskey and ice and another different cup of coke and you dumped it together? Now the bar is essentially doing like double the dishes for their mixed drinks
Wtf lol

I've got a concept for a restaurant where people make their own PIZZA PIE!

You have to know how to do that. You can't have people shoving their arms into a six-hundred degree oven.

Your original question made it seem like you were asking if the party goers should make their own drinks.
I get what you’re asking now though. Should the bartenders stir the whiskey and coke. As others said, pour the whiskey and coke. That’s about it. The whiskey and coke crowd isn’t going to really care.

pimento cheese finger sandwiches contain mayo.
I can do a Chicken Salad without mayo, but this is impossible.
Pimento cheese is lietrally Cheddar, pimento(red bell peppers), and mayo.
There's no other way to make it. Without mayo, it's not Pimento cheese.
It's something...but not Pimento Cheese.
Like Gumbo without Okra. It's a stew, but it ain't Gumbo. Gumbo means "Okra Stew".

Event went well. I think vodka/crans, vodka/tonics were the biggest orders. That and beer. But there were plenty of whiskey and sodas. Darryl and Mane decided to swirl with a spoon anything that they put lemon or lime in. Everything else just got poured into the weekend Waterfords and left up to the patron to mix. We did not have cocktail straws. That will be amended next time if I'm tasked with this again. Thanks to everyone (Toof) for their help. Last I remember D and Mane had a fat tip jar.
