Smoked some King Salmon from Alaska today. Love it smoked.

On the grill, I usually smear with mayo & dill, then squeeze a lemon over it.

Years ago when I lived by The Spice House I noticed a salmon blend that they had. I thought I'd pick up a little bit to try out and I've been hooked ever since.

I just like salmon. No rub needed.

Why overcomplicate it? Dash of lemon pepper and call it good.

I have found pork rubs work best on salmon

Ha, you don't like soy?

I’m not a big fan of salmon. My wife likes it though.
Her favorite is when I just rub in a mixture of lime juice, chili powder, white pepper and sea salt. Cook in a black cast iron pan.

It's not my favorite. I consume it for health reasons. If I'm honest I think the farmed stuff that isn't as good for you actually tastes better but I opt for the wild caught

Not a huge fan but when I eat it I keep it simple and enjoy the flavor of the fish.
SPG, onions and lemons.

Tom Douglas Salmon Rub
Bought some at whole foods. I thought it was way too sweet.
I think I'll try to blend it half and half with some creole seasoning or something next time.
